Who we are (data controller)
VidaBeacon is operated by MonacoWebPix, registered in the Principality of Monaco (RCI no. 25P10884), C/O CATS, 28 Boulevard Princesse Charlotte, Le Forum, 98000 Monaco. MonacoWebPix is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, email [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, and the name, email, and message you send through our contact form. Our hosting and content-delivery providers also keep short-lived server access logs that may include your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability only. We collect nothing else, and we use no analytics or tracking.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your email solely to send the newsletter you asked for (legal basis: your consent). We use contact-form details only to reply to you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We process short-lived security/CDN logs to keep the site safe and available (legal basis: our legitimate interest in security). We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
Cookies and tracking
VidaBeacon sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. Because we use no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising. A small number of service providers process data on our instructions: Contabo GmbH (Germany) hosts our servers and database; Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) provides content delivery and security in front of the site; and Resend (a US email provider, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) delivers our newsletter confirmation and emails. Our internal draft-writing tools use the Anthropic API, which processes editorial drafts — not your subscriber or contact data.
Where your data is processed (international transfers)
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union (Germany). Traffic is routed through Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses in the United States; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and provides Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe, after which we remove or anonymise it. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Security and CDN access logs are kept for a short period (up to 30 days) and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you gave (for example, by unsubscribing). To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority — in Monaco, the Commission de Contrôle des Informations Nominatives (CCIN); if you are in the EU or UK, you may instead contact your local supervisory authority.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect (identifiers such as your email; internet activity such as an IP address in security logs), to delete or correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we honour recognised opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). To make a request, email [email protected]; we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
VidaBeacon is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The version date is shown below; please check back for changes.
